Miley Cyrus: Fooling Everyone & Earning Millions of Dollars

mc2

Ifrane – Gore, disgusting, raunchy and inappropriate are only few of the words used today to describe who was once called the princess of disney, Miley Cyrus.

Miley went, some might say step by step, other say out of nowhere in becoming a sex-reliant, sex-selling singer with a rock’nd roll style in the way she dresses, the way she sings and even the way she talks and behaves. It could be closer to an animal locked for so long under layers of falseness and suddenly having the full and utmost liberty to do whatever, buy whatever and sing whatever she wants. Realizing she is no longer bound either by law or parents to be that sweet little girl called Hannah Montana. But, Miley may have just won the odds in making it to the other side, that is the adults world. A step many child stars find very hard and very challenging to do, Lindsay Lohan and most recently Amanda Bynes suffered and are suffering from problems in dealing with stardom, fame, stress and the fear, the fear of losing it all or the fear that they will not find a project that will push they’re careers further up. Miley’s latest two videos went well beyond 600 Million views making her latest look-changing more profitable for her and her brand since, well, since her peak back in 2008-2009. Soures confirm to TIWA that Cyrus is now earning as much as $80 Million a year from endorsements alone!! guess all that jumping and twerking is paying off nicely 😉

Miley has succeeded in guaranteeing that her name will never, always, be attached to her Hannah Montana era and although people are sometimes, or most of the times, left with a feeling of disgust, I advice hem to forget the old Miley Cyrus and focus on the new one as a new, emerging artist with a new, different and probably controversial style.

One of the most unticipated series: Intelligence 2013

Ifrane – Just saw the trailer, just saw the actors performances, just saw the comeback (true comeback) of a Lost star, Intelligence seems action-full, funny and dramatic. What more can a blogger asks right.

So lets get one with it! Intelligence is an upcoming American cyber-themed action/adventure television series that is expected to premiere on February 24, 2014 on CBS says my lil friend Wikipedia. My response to that however, was a bit different: WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH THE PRODUCERS! Waiting till 2014 to let people enjoy this AMAZING series! To put you closure to its, mmm concept, lets just say it mixes between NCIS L.A., Hawaii Five-0 and covered with a taste of Homeland. ITS A MUST WATCH (when it comes out) not to mention it stars the 44 year-old yet still sexy as hell Josh Holloway.

Lets hope Intelligence is as good as it sounds, because we sure damn need new series to feed our addiction 🙂 Incase you are looking for an in-depth article, check Wikipedia 😉 just sayin

Syria: Assad’s Army promised military Intervention from Russia

Bashar-al-Assad-su_1925765b

Ifrane – “This Is Wafi Abdouss Blog” Returns after nearly one month of activity absence. We comeback with an explosive but short article about Syria, because as many might know, the US is preparing to attack yet another Arab country.

Accusing Assad of using chemical weapons, The US and its allies called for military actions against Assad but the pace of “military intervention” soon faded as US allies including its key ally the UK announced they will not take part in any attack against Syria. The US however, is sticking to its position and remains deadlocked to strike Syria. On the other hand, we can exclusively report that sources from within the Syrian government have confirmed that Russia promised to provide strong military support in order to keep rebels from taking advantage of the supposed strike. The source adds that Russia is committed to protect its interests in the Mediterranean sea.

More is coming, more news is being prepared from different categories to make you an addict of this blog 🙂

George Zimmerman’s Lawyers Celebrate in Expensive Restaurants

ap_george_zimmerman_dm_130607_wg

Saidia – Following the land-marking event of George Zimmerman’s NOT GUILTY sentence, His lawyers asked the public for HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for George Zimmerman’s defense … but now that the case is over, the savvy lawyer’s are living the high life!

Gossip website TMZ spotted Mark O’Mara, Don West and the rest GZ’s team of lawyers leaving the famous Nello’s restaurant in NYC earlier today. Nello’s clients are only those with big pockets and shiny billboard names, the likes of Jay-Z and Lady Gaga and where the lobster bisque will cost you a cool $43.

And when they were leaving, they told TMZ’s cameras that Zimmerman was “Innocent from day ONE!”

Egypt’s CBC Channel: The Voice Of Defiance

cbc_egypt

Saidia – Launched in 2011 by Egyptian businessman “Mohammed Amine”, CBC (Capital Broadcasting Center) has become since the day it was created a panel that voices out harsh but mostly “rightfully placed” criticism against the Egyptian authorities but most notably, the Muslim Brotherhood claims many supporters of the channel.

Following the fall of Mubarak, many private channels came to see the light in Egypt and one of the biggest, most successful and outrageously controversial channel is CBC. Without being confused with America’s CBS, CBC is in fact just as a powerhouse in Egypt as CBS is in the United States. Why? Well apart from its coverage of the Egyptian elections, many people inside and outside of Egypt believe that CBC is changing the history of Egyptian and Arab television with western-like shows (Bassem Youssef’s Al Bernameg and Houna Al Assima). Although the channel made its name as one of Egypt’s most candid and defiant channels in politics, its been noted by many that the channel’s programming which includes dramas is also making a revolution in the Arab cinema with Multi-Million dollar series with steamy and again, controversial subjects.

So why do we think CBC is the voice of defiance? Simply because we’ve been following the channel since 2011 and although we have reservations concerning “bias issues”, overall…we believe that the channel and its administration are one of the rising Voice Of Defiance that ultimately and intentionally unintentionally helped in the demise of President Morsi and his Society government.

Maroc Telecom 3G: From Bad To Worse!

640x392_90775_158204

Saidia – Maroc Telecom fancy itself as the leading communication company in Morocco and has been keen to sustain those claims with multi-million dollar advertising campaigns showcasing how family-friendly and affordable it is.

No one can deny that the ads are very impressing, especially the ones with A-list celebs dancing around and smiling with the company’s logo everywhere –> after all they’re paid to do so, but Moroccans with limited sources, unable to pay nearly 400 Dhs a month to acquire a faster internet connection, find themselves with the option of 100 Dh/month 3G connection and they would be lucky if the internet actually works let alone fast enough to watch videos.

The depressing reality is the fact that Maroc Telecom is yet to add a 4G connection while many Arab communication companies intiated it years ago! And the image gets even bleaker as the current 3G connection used to be faster just one year ago say Facebook-based young Moroccans who are outraged by what they called “lies and fabrications” made up by Maroc Telecom.

But to be honest enough, Maroc Telecom isn’t the only one with this problem as both Inwi and Meditel face the same problems along with the same absence of a near solution.

With 42 people killed, will Egyptian interim president resign?

rabi3a

Saidia – The treats made by the Muslim Brotherhood about destabilizing the country may have been true as violence in Egypt seems to be escalating towards an Iraq-like scenario.

Over 42 people were killed in clashes near the headquarters of the republican guard between pro-Morsi demonstrators and the Egyptian army and the Muslim Brotherhood is claiming that the army stationed in the perimeter of the republican guard HQ. With the Muslim Brotherhood seeming as strong and staunch as ever many are wondering what will happen next in the land of the pharaohs. Many parties came out with statements calling what happened a massacre against the Egyptian people and while anti-Morsi parties, political figures and news channels denounced what happened they stopped short from accusing the army of committing anything wrong while on the other hand pro-Morsi and neutral political parties called the Egyptian interim president to resign as a response to what they called a massacre. And as violence continues to spread from a city to the other, the US seems to be unable to support one part over the other as president Obama’s administration continues to send mixed signals about its stance on what happened is happening in Egypt while the vast majority of Arab countries (mainly gulf states including Qatar) publically welcomed the change in Egypt.

The violence in Egypt even caused a rift between Al Arabiya and Al Jazeera which were for the past 2 years strongly supportive of each others news reporting which might explain how delicate the situation is in Egypt.
