One of the most unticipated series: Intelligence 2013

Ifrane – Just saw the trailer, just saw the actors performances, just saw the comeback (true comeback) of a Lost star, Intelligence seems action-full, funny and dramatic. What more can a blogger asks right.

So lets get one with it! Intelligence is an upcoming American cyber-themed action/adventure television series that is expected to premiere on February 24, 2014 on CBS says my lil friend Wikipedia. My response to that however, was a bit different: WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH THE PRODUCERS! Waiting till 2014 to let people enjoy this AMAZING series! To put you closure to its, mmm concept, lets just say it mixes between NCIS L.A., Hawaii Five-0 and covered with a taste of Homeland. ITS A MUST WATCH (when it comes out) not to mention it stars the 44 year-old yet still sexy as hell Josh Holloway.

Lets hope Intelligence is as good as it sounds, because we sure damn need new series to feed our addiction ūüôā Incase you are looking for an in-depth article, check Wikipedia ūüėČ just sayin

Wafi Abdouss: Becoming The “IT” Guy

Ifrane- When I first came to Al Akhawayn University, I thought that I’m going to study in a Haravrd-like, Beverlyhills-looking university where everything is possible and where vice overshadows righteousness.

So I came in with a really negative view, I mean really negative, and my dream at that time (4 semesters ago) was to become famous. I dunno why, but I just wanted to be known, loved and followed. You can say its a kid’s dream, a superstars syndrome or an odd version of OCD. Becoming the point of attention has been one of my biggest defects, and as of this writing, I still suffer from it because as you might notice, I’m trying yet again to grab the attention of the reader with a sort-of catchy tittle (I guess) and a heart-felt (not really) article or post. So, back to my little story, I decided to start my own reality show in my first semester and you might say, wow, what a nice idea! WRONG! it was the worst, although I had lots of fun recording it and editing it alongside my two best friends, it gained me nothing but sarcasm, laughs and odd-looks. Maybe I was mistaken, or maybe its just not the right place and the right time. No one can deny that my show (if you can call it a show) was a joke as there was no story, no plot, no good or even decent acting HOWEVER, it gained me a certain percentage of fame. People started to recognize me (In a negative way).

By summer 2012, I became a love-to-hate guy, people just wanted to hate me for no obvious reason. Presuming I was this silly, stupid, Not funny, annoying guy which I WASN’T! The big blast came in August 2012 when I group called Gossip Boy (Yes it is similar to GG in concept) was created, people jumped to thinking I was behind it and it soon went VIRAL among the whole university community. And like that, I became one of the most recognizable faces, one of the really most despised faces. I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it at first, especially when girls used to come up to me and ask me not to write about them but when real problems started poring in like heavy rains, friends ignoring me and even unfriending me I started to feal all alone, sad, heartbroken and mad. You know that feeling when someone accuses you of something and no matter what you say or do no one believes you had nothing to do with it? I felt it each day.

The bright side was that I came to know who my real friends are, and who my fake friends are. Gossip Boy made me infamous, but you know what they say, bad publicity is publicity and publicity is a good thing….wanna know how I changed it all? See you in part 2.

P.S. I’m the guy dancing in the video, which also brough me A LOT OF ATTENTION! I had to delete my video but someone copied it before I took it down, guess they though it was funny, I think it was! ūüėČ

Akhawayn’s Rising Talent: From Thrift Shop to Weld Al Akhawayn

Adel Abaab is a university student who I first came to know when I joined Akhawayn’s Drama Club in early 2012 (my first semester).

Since I withdrew from the club after some confrontations between the club’s members my relationship with him subsequently ended with¬†absolutely¬†no prospects of friendship (mutual I guess)

Last summer, Akhawayn Gossip Boy was created and Abaab was one of the first and most “blasted” students on the Facebook-based group. I don’t know how it got out, but a rumor stating that I was behind it started to spread and soon enough I found myself in a heated battle with Adel. Little did he or other accusers know that I only served as an admin for a small period of time and was about to leave the group.

Since then, we’ve never had any face-to-face confrontations but rather a raging war on the internet but today, I’ve decided to say the truth, to congratulates Abaab on his marvelous achievements and to showcase my deepest and sincerest best wishes for him to continue in this path. For me, and possibly to many others, Adel Abaab deserves to pursue a career in show-business as from the looks of it he is always not short of ideas and funny projects.

He is a great actor, a seemingly joyful person and a great impersonator and he sure in hell deserves to be on Mawazine as a friend of mine said to me.

Diary #3: The Final Day Of Regular Classes – An Open Letter

Dear readers,

The day has finally came, a day I waited to witness since the start of the semester, a day when all students get ready to pass their finals, pack their bags and say goodbye. Today is the beginning of a journey towards a refreshing 3 month vacation back and even though 5 days are still looming in between, I feel like if the 18th of may has arrived already. Happiness, fear, anxiety, hope and guilt fight together in my mind as I reflect upon my 4 month stint at Al Akhawayn University. But could I call it a stint, maybe an experience is more suitable but then again, if it is an experience it is still far from ending as the vacation approaching is only a much needed yet limited rest period that will come into an end by Sepetember 1st when a new Fall semester begins.

So, should I be happy that the semester is over and that I’m going back home to my room, our Mansion’s maids and my loyal friends? Or should I surrender and dive to the darkness of a reality evolving around the fact that I’m bound to comeback to this lonely place where I’m seen and portrayed¬†as a rebel with a cause of destroying AUI’s students? Who knows, I on a personal note stand firm behind the believe that no matter what, I can always drop out of college and enjoy the perks of being a rich, influential and travel-loving Abdouss Family Member.

always with love,

So Why Do I hate the SSK1213?

When I first enrolled in Al Akhawayn University I never imagined that I will be studying something called “SSK”.

I first started with SSK1211 (got a B+) and then SSK1212 (got a C+) and now I’m studying SSK1213 which is AT LAST! the final SSK class! I hate the SSK1213 simply because it is simply pointless to me. I’m an International studies student and I don’t see anything fruitful in studying the SSK1213.¬†

It is supposed to be “to¬†improve the critical thinking” of students but as far as am concerned, the only thing we do is “fallacies, arguments ….. etc”. I just hate this school subject my dear diary and I WANT IT TO BE CANCELED! Killed off and deleted so that other students in the future avoid having to think so much about it and spend long hours studying for a class worth “2 CREDITS”.

Wafi Abdouss: The Life Of GB

Ok, so Many people say that I’m this guy who owns a group on Facebook called “Gossip Boy” and yes this group is similar to what “Gossip Girl” was doing and the reason why they think its me is ….. WHO KNOWS! Maybe because I was crazy enough to have imagined that Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is the¬†Berkeley¬†of Morocco and started recording and publishing videos on YouTube under the Title: Ifrane90210 (yes its based on the 90210 series!).¬†

For Now, the majority in my 1800-strong university think that Gossip Boy is me with some hating me, other fearing me and some even trying to befriend with me! My life is just wild crazy and you’re about to witness every bit of it!
